MARI (the Mandala Assessment Research Instrument)

MARI (the Mandala Assessment Research Instrument) is an evaluation system that incorporates the use of color, mandala symbols and intuition. This tool-based therapy involves first drawing and coloring a mandala. This is becomes quite meditative, fun and easy to do – no artistic talent is required. The client is then instructed by the MARI Practitioner to intuitively choose cards from the 39 MARI symbols, matching these symbols to color choices and seeing visually what your psyche and intuition is telling you.

This process is simple, fun and effective. It can assist you in finding solutions to questions you are currently living with by revealing what your deep unconscious self already knows the answer to. Mandalas can be ‘read’ or interpreted like a story. The colours, patterns and symbols used can reveal all sorts of things about a person’s personality and what is going on in their life. This is the language of the soul and an in-depth one-on-one interpretative session can help access your intuitive wisdom, providing guidance that comes from your own subconscious.

Mari Session

The session begins with drawing and coloring a mandala. No artistic experience is required; drawing different patterns with crayons within or outside of a circle. The client is then instructed by the MARI Practitioner to intuitively choose from the 39 symbols printed on clear plastic, which have been spread out. Next step is to match these symbols to color choices and seeing visually what your psyche and intuition is telling you. With the practitioner’s guidance, the meaning of the symbols and colours chosen are discussed in-depth.
